Merkel and Myrtle attended the Double Shot Coffee Fiesta
Fringe event on Sunday. The attendees
were entertained with live music and a latte art contest. There were many stalls selling coffee, food
and a variety of goods.
Merkel’s interest in the event was of course the hot
chocolates that were available. He tried
two. One was from the Coffee Acadamy and
one was from the Crema Coffee. Both were
presented well within the limitations of the takeaway containers. The milk was creamy and the froth was
good. The Coffee Acadamy using the Ducale branded coffee and chocolate powder
had the superior chocolate flavour. This
was a rich dark chocolate. The cost of
these hot chocolates was $4.00.
